How do we maximise the efficiency of our safety training?
Vej-EU – Safety – 2014
Different backgrounds and fields
How do you ensure that course participants with different backgrounds and from different fields get the best possible results from the same training? That was the challenge for the independent association formed by the road sector, Vej-EU, when they were organising the 2-day course “The road as a workplace” for entrepreneurs, land surveyors and road workers.
Preparatory course for workshop
To meet the challenge, MOCH helped Vej-EU to develop a one-hour preparatory e-learning course that prepares the participants before they start the 2-day course. By adding an introductory e-learning course to the training, the instructor does not waste any valuable time explaining basic terms or evening out variations in the participants' level of knowledge. Instead, the instructor can focus on the core function of the workshop, which is teaching the specific terms and skills relating to certain challenges.
Ready for work
The solutions ensures that all participants are prepared for the practical work, when they arrive at the group training course. It increases the quality of the learning process and raises the participants’ level of competence. This way, they are better equipped to achieve the objective of the training course: to ensure the safety of road users - and themselves - during road works.
